Lifestyle Changes

Helping animals doesn’t mean you need to go out and volunteer at a sanctuary. You can actually do much more for animals from the comfort of your own home, just by changing your lifestyle.

Here are a couple of things you can do

Eat more plant based

Switch your diet to be more plant-based or fully vegan. Take your time. Don’t try to fit into labels. Any step you take towards more plant foods and less animal foods is a step in the right direction.

Entertainment & Sport

Avoid all times of entertainment and sports involving animals. That means swimming with dolphins, horse back riding, elephant rides, photos with lion cubs/other wildlife.  Zoos, sea parks and circusses too.

Clothing

Avoid buying first-hand animal-derived fabrics such as leather, wool, silk and fur. If you want those, try to buy them second hand, it’s cheaper and doesn’t create a demand for these cruel practices.

Choose organic cotton over regular cotton.
