    Yesterday we said our goodbyes to one very special Yesterday we said our goodbyes to one very special cat. We rescued Hades in 2018 and he was a real mess. FIV+ and constantly soiling himself and any cozy nest we made for him, he would gnaw at his legs making himself look very sickly. He was our little gargoyle. But despite his scraggly looks Hades was a true charmer. By far most of our volunteers named him as their favourite resident of the sanctuary. He was always there, always willing to be pet and he instantly purred as soon as you touched him. Hades was a great teacher, teaching us about living in the present moment and accepting things as they are. He was outside as soon as the sun was out and he enjoyed a last sunny day. You will be missed old friend. I hope you get lots of scratches and a neverending buffet of delicious foods where you live out your next of 9 lives. We love you buddy 😻 We've suffered many losses in the last few weeks, it's been a real tough time at the sanctuary. Make sure to give extra love, care and attention to your loved ones, whether 2 or 4 legged. 😽✨ Hier, nous avons dit au revoir à un chat très spécial. Nous avons sauvé Hadès en 2018 et il était vraiment mal en point. FIV+ et se souillant constamment lui-même et tout nid douillet que nous lui avons fait, il rongeait ses jambes ce qui lui donnait un air très maladif. C'était notre petite gargouille. Mais en dépit de son apparence délabrée, Hadès était un vrai charmeur. De loin, il était le résident préféré de nos bénévoles. Il était toujours là, toujours prêt à être caressé et il ronronnait instantanément dès qu'on le touchait. Hadès était un grand professeur, nous apprenant à vivre le moment présent et à accepter les choses telles qu'elles sont. Il était dehors dès que le soleil était sorti et il a pu profiter d'une dernière journée ensoleillée. Tu va nous manquer, petite croquette. On espère que tu auras beaucoup de caresses et un buffet à volonté là où tu vis la prochaine de tes 9 vies. Nous t'aimons fort, chouchou 😻 Nous avons subi de nombreuses pertes ces dernières semaines, ça a été une période vraiment difficile au sanctuaire. Donnez plein d'amour, de soins et d'attention à vos proches, qu'ils aient 2 ou 4 pattes.
