    Avec une émotion particulièrement forte, nous av Avec une émotion particulièrement forte, nous avons dû dire au revoir à Bucky. Après s’être battu à ses côtés suite à un arrêt de transite, son état se dégradant nous avons décidé de le laisser partir. Bucky était un petit bouc par sa taille, mais grand par son charisme et son caractère. Il fut le premier animal sauvé, commençant donc l’aventure Mudita. Il avait été trouvé errant dans un village voisin atteint par une gale importante et le cou sectionné par un collier trop serré. Il aura passé 9 ans avec nous marquant chaque esprit qu’il aura rencontré, il arborerait de jolis cornes qu’il prenait plaisir à utiliser envers et contre tous si ça lui plaisant, mais jamais personne n’a su lui en vouloir. Sa présence se fera manquer au sanctuaire. Repose-toi bien buck With very strong emotions we had to say goodbye to Bucky. His digestive process stopped we fought alongside him but his state deteriorating we decided to let him go. Bucky was a small goat by his size but big by his charisma and character. He was the first animal saved here and starting the Mudita adventure. He was found wandering in a nearby village with a severe scab and severed neck wound caused bu a tight collar. He had spent 9 years with us marking every spirit he has met. He had these beautiful horns that he enjoyed using against everyone and everything that pleases him, but no one ever could get mad at him. His presence will be greatly missed at Mudita.     Yeti 🐱 Yeti est arrivé au sanctuaire au print Yeti 🐱 Yeti est arrivé au sanctuaire au printemps. Il a été trappé aux abords d’un supermarché avec plusieurs autres chats errants pour être castré puis relâché, mais face à sa gentillesse et son besoin d’attention, la personne en charge de sa castration ne pouvant se résoudre à le relâcher, nous l’avons accueilli. Yeti est un grand charmeur, il s’est lié d’une forte amitié avec Soot un grand chat noir très timide. Yeti arrived at Mudita in springtime. He got trapped nearby a super market with a few other stray cats to be nurtured and released but he turned out to be such a sweet and cuddly guy that the person taking care of trapping and releasing couldn’t put him back in the streets, so we welcomed him.     Dimanche 28 avril Sand nous a brutalement quittée Dimanche 28 avril Sand nous a brutalement quittées. Une soirée que nous ne sommes pas prête d’oublier … Sand a succombé à un retournement complet des intestins, malgré l’administration d’antidouleur dans l’espoir de répondre à sa détresse dans l’attente de l’intervention de notre vétérinaire, de longues minutes de souffrance et de désespoir, on prit place nous laissant impuissantes face à son agonie. Sand n’avait aucune chance de se remettre d’un tel incident, la faute à pas de chance, on nous dira. Sand était un gentil poney curieux et gourmand. Il finira ses jours dans le jardin du sanctuaire à nos côtés et complètement aveugle ce qui ne l’empêchais pas de nous trouver pour réclamer amour et friandises. Il était arrivé au sanctuaire de lui-même plusieurs années en arrière, déjà borgne. Un poney de club comme un autre destiné à l’abattoir dès lors que son corps usé n’aurait plus été en capacité de supporter un humain. La chance lui a souri et il a su taper à la bonne porte, il aura vécu jusqu’à ses 30 ans et a mené la grande vie, choyer et aimer. Reposes en paix Sand. Sunday, April 28 Sand brutally left us. An evening we will never forget… Sand succumbed to a complete bowel reversal, despite the administration of painkillers in the hope of responding to his distress while waiting for the intervention of our veterinarian, long minutes of suffering and despair, leaving us helpless facing his agony. Sand had no chance of recovering from such an incident, the fault of bad luck, we will be told. Sand was a nice curious and food lover pony. He will end his days in the garden of the sanctuary by our side and completely blind which did not prevent him from finding us to claim love and treats. He arrived at the sanctuary on his own several years ago, already one-eyed. A club pony like another destined for the slaughterhouse as soon as its worn body would no longer be able to support a human. Luck was with him and he knocked on the right door, he lived until his 30 years and led the great life, pampering and loving. Rest in peace Sand.
    Une semaine difficile 😣 Cette semaine, nous av Une semaine difficile 😣 Cette semaine, nous avons dit au revoir à deux êtres chers. Zéphyr était un adorable bouc, grand par sa taille sa gentillesse et son calme. Un bouc très doux et très proche de Rhea son amie de toujours. Tous les deux sont arrivés au sanctuaire il y a 6 ans sauvés in extremis de leur départ pour l’équarrissage. Sa génétique, modifiée pour la production humaine, la fait vieillir trop vite, ses articulations comme son corps l’on lâché avant l’heure et nous l’avons laisser partir en paix ❤️ Umbra, cette petite poule très attachante dormait dans la maison suite à une maladie respiratoire, des inhalation lui était nécessaire tous les soirs. Umbra était une poule pondeuse de réforme de 6 ans, elle vivait entre les chiens et les chats sans se démonter ! Une adorable poule qui savait se faire comprendre. Reposes en paix Umbra ❤️ A difficult week 😣 This week we said goodbye to two loved ones. Zephyr was an adorable goat, great by his size his kindness and calm. A very sweet goat and very close to Rhea his lifelong friend. Both arrived at the sanctuary 6 years ago saved in extremis of their departure for rendering. His genetics, modified for human production, made him age too fast, his joints like his body gave up on him too early and we had to let him go in peace ❤️ Umbra, this very lovely little hen slept in the house because of a respiratory illness, inhalation was necessary every evening. Umbra was a 6-year-old laying hen, she lived between dogs and cats without falling apart! An adorable hen who knew how to make herself understood.     Hier nos moutons ont été tondus ! 🐏Une tonte Hier nos moutons ont été tondus ! 🐏Une tonte nécessaire avec l’arrivée des beaux jours. La tonte doit être réalisée le plus vite possible, la position assise qu’il on ne leur permettent pas de respirer correctement. Une fois par an au printemps (deux en cas de grosse chaleur) 5 de nos 6 moutons sont tondus pour les libérer de leur toison qu’ils ne perdent plus naturellement, Shoat lui mue et ne nécessite pas de se faire tondre à son plus grand plaisir 😁 Yesterday our sheep were sheared ! 🐏A necessary step with the arrival of sunny days. Shearing should be done as quick as possible, the sitting position they have does not allow them to breathe properly.
