Vous pouvez vous porter volontaire de quatre mani\u00e8res diff\u00e9rentes. Si vous venez sur place, c'est une excellente occasion de vous rapprocher de nos r\u00e9sidents et de vivre une exp\u00e9rience vraiment enrichissante.\u00a0<\/p>

La journ\u00e9e de travail commence g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement vers 8h et se termine vers 19h. Cependant, il y a de nombreuses heures dans la journ\u00e9e o\u00f9 vous \u00eates libre de vous d\u00e9tendre ou de jouer avec les animaux \u00e0 votre guise. Certains jours peuvent \u00eatre plus courts et d'autres plus longs, travailler avec des animaux est souvent impr\u00e9visible, donc \u00eatre flexible est un atout.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Le travail comprend, sans s'y limiter, nourrir les animaux deux fois par jour, nettoyer l'\u00e9curie, nettoyer les crottes et bouses dans les pr\u00e9s, nettoyer les liti\u00e8res de chats, apporter du foin l\u00e0 o\u00f9 c'est n\u00e9cessaire, remplir les bacs \u00e0 eau, r\u00e9parer les cl\u00f4tures, travailler dans le jardin, ratisser, socialiser les animaux, etc.<\/p>\n

Nous travaillons dans toutes les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques, bien que dans de mauvaises conditions, le travail peut \u00eatre limit\u00e9 \u00e0 l'essentiel.<\/p>\n

Les repas sont compris. Ils sont v\u00e9g\u00e9taliens et bio. Le d\u00e9jeuner est pr\u00e9par\u00e9 et partag\u00e9 ensemble. Pour le petit-d\u00e9jeuner et le diner, les b\u00e9n\u00e9voles ont \u00e0 disposition leur propre cuisine (qu'ils se partagent entre-eux) pour se pr\u00e9parer leurs repas. Les ingr\u00e9dients sont fournis. <\/p>

Typiquement on prend le petit d\u00e9jeuner *apr\u00e8s* avoir nourrit tous les animaux le matin, c'est \u00e0 dire vers 9 heures. Bien s\u00fbr, si vous souhaitez manger avant, c'est possible, tant que vous soyez pr\u00eats \u00e0 8 heures.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

We loved our stay at the sanctuary. It really is a sanctuary \u2013 it feels safe and peaceful. The animals are beautiful and each has a unique personality. You will get really fit working here; lots of heavy lifting and running around. Ariane provides great fuel though which is lovely organic food. \nBeing at the sanctuary and in an environment that has such love and respect for the animals helped to solidify my conviction as a vegan and helped me aspire to a more minimal, zero waste lifestyle too. <\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Staying with Ariane for a month was a very unique experience and one that I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to connect with animals and escape city\/modern life. I certainly feel as though I have seen a unique and rewarding way of approaching life and truly believe that an experience such as this would be valuable for anybody, especially those around my age unsure of what to pursue in life. I had a brilliant time with Ariane and her animals. The animals are all wonderful, I loved working with and getting to know them, there are so many different characters, and Ariane has created a wonderful home for them all. They need looking after every day though, you need to be ready to work hard.\nAriane is such a lovely person, kind, considerate, intelligent, and she cares deeply about all her animals, they always come first. Ariane has devoted her life to rescuing animals. It is a lot of work for one person and she needs people who can really commit to all aspects of the work, some pleasant, some not so pleasant. I especially loved her two magnificent bulls, Chronos and Hermes. I feel so privileged to have been able to brush them and sit with them and feed them. I l love cows. It has been only a few hours since I've left Ariane's place, and I cannot wait to share my experience here. I've arrived here almost two months ago. And now it feels like I'm leaving home. This was without a doubt the best experience of my life. I was there for roughly 1 month and it flew by. Ariane's property and the surrounding area is beautiful, but more importantly the animals are truly incredible. Working around them throughout the day, you are able to build connections and understand each of their personalities. I was extremely sad to leave them and will go back at the drop of a hat. I was very impressed by Arianes love towards animals and how devoting and passionately she cares for former abandoned and mistreated animals - truly impressing and inspiring. The days at the sanctuary were very busy, but Ariane always made sure that we got to enjoy tasty and relaxing meals as a nice break between jobs. The main skill I learnt over the three months is the importance of taking initiative and always looking for something else to help with, as there is always something else. Animals need a lot of looking after, and you can't take days off because you're tired or unmotivated. I arrived as a very lazy and under-confident person, but left with a lot more self belief and a genuine desire to keep busy. I was always very impressed with how hard Ariane worked to make sure the animals were happy, no matter how stressful the situation.<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

I really enjoyed my stay at Ariane's marvellous home and looking after those animals. I am grateful for the experience to live with a vegan lady who actually showed a great example of how to live life in a very economical way with a high standard. The animals are all friendly and easy to work with. This is a place where you find it hard to separate working hours of the hours of pleasure being with the animals if you love them.I fell in love with all the animals equally as they were all so special with great personalities in their own way and I still miss them all.
